T.N. Information Systems Ltd. (TNIS) was established
in 1989 under the name 'T.N. Nixdorf Computer (Thailand)
Ltd.', with a registered capital of 140 million
Baht. The company started out as a joint venture
between Nixdorf Computer AG and T.N. Incorporated
Ltd. to be a hardware supplier.
In 1997, TNIS announced a major change in shareholding
under which the company became 100% owned by TN
Incorporated Ltd. On October 3, 1997, the company
changed its name to T.N. Information Systems Ltd.
and repositioned itself from a hardware supplier
to a systems integrator (SI).
Since then, TNIS has reinforced its position
as the market leader in several key areas including
